Staples: Logo, Branding, & UX Design

UX website or app design for a fashion retail brand. Part of a full brand identity package.

Staples, but not the office supply kind. This brief from @designbynonna was exactly what I needed to break my creative funk. With such a unique brand, I dove in with a UVP, some quick copywriting, and (of course) a logo design.

The icon on this one is simple and very literal. But somehow it feels like it makes this brand even more cutting edge. Add that to a monochrome pallete and to-the-point writing, and you have the foundation of a bold brand identity.

What's a fashion seller without a killer strategy? I imagined Staples' mobile platform as another way to stand out from the crowd. With interactive resources and Pinterest-like inspiration, users would feel excited to explore new styles and products.

To help customers create their first capsule wardrobe, Staples could offer a style quiz and show their pieces coming together with a digital look book. Staples' mobile platform feels even more interactive with story buttons and swipe-up scrolling inspired by social media.

I know I could use a site like this!

A little bit of branded collateral to finish off this project! When designing a brand, every little detail can reinforce your positioning. If you're not thinking about how it'll look and feel for the end user, you're missing opportunities to earn lifelong customers.
